Robert Copley is the Chairman of TPS Associates, Inc.

Bob has over 35 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the areas of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Test Program Set (TPS). He started his career in the US Navy as an Instructor teaching Operation and Maintenance on several Weapons Systems. After leaving the Navy, he worked for the RCA Corporation, first as an Instructor teaching Electronic Maintenance on US Army Systems at the Artillery Center in Oklahoma, then serving as a Senior Member of the Technical Staff in Burlington, Massachusetts. There, he was part of the Design team that developed the first ATE System for the US Army. During this time, he used his Electronics Maintenance experience to develop the first TPSs for the ATE Systems under development. He then pursued a career as a Supervisory Electronic Engineer, procuring ATE and TPSs for the Navy at Lakehurst, NJ. He is a published authority on Software Re-hosting and acquisition methodologies of TPSs for Military Weapons Systems.

Bob received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Technology from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts. His career includes roles as Company owner, Consultant, and Expert Witness.

He is considered a pioneer and Subject Matter Expert in his field.
